This research is funded by the Australian Football League (AFL) and run by Deakin University. All research conducted at Deakin University is subject to strict ethical guidelines that protect participant privacy and ensure participant responses remain private and confidential.

No members of football clubs or the research team who are employed at the AFL will ever have access to participant responses. No member of the research team will receive any personal financial benefit from this research, outside of their ordinary wages.
